Merrill has been at the top of the engineering field for over 40 years and is still growing while evolving with the ever-changing world of design and permitting.  Merrill Engineers and Land Surveyors has recently merged with Cavanaro Consulting, both now divisions of Merrill Corporation.

Significant annual investments in software, technology, and training offer a great opportunity to learn and advance professionally, as well as accommodate the current environment of working remotely.  We currently have four offices: Hanover, Norwell, a waterfront office in Plymouth (Marine Division), and a downtown office in Plymouth.  Merrill is continuing its quest to be the top engineering and land surveying firm in Massachusetts.  Merrill successfully completes projects from New Hampshire to the Berkshires, to all of Cape Cod.

We believe our people are the key to past and future success.  We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our Engineering Division in Hanover or Norwell.  Merrill has over 15 registered professionals and many equally talented support team members to learn from and help grow your career.

The ideal candidate:

  • has a minimum of 3-5+ years demonstrated experience in civil engineering drafting and calculations, technical writing, and communicating.
possesses an excellent attitude, good work ethic, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
is proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word; and other industry-specific software.

Minimum education requirements include a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree.  The candidate must possess a valid driver’s license and be physically fit enough to work in the field as required.
