Merrill Donates Shark Receiver to Town of Plymouth
To kick off the new Merrill office on the historic waterfront of Plymouth, Merrill Engineers and Land Surveyors donated an acoustical shark receiver to help the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy (AWSC) research and track nearby sharks that swim off the Massachusetts coastal waters.
I’ve always wanted to give back to the community that I, and many of our employees live in. I’m finally at a point in my life when I can do it. My volunteer work for the Plymouth 400 Bass and Blue Tournament, becoming a Conservation Commissioner, opening the new office at 26 Union Street, and the donation of the Shark Beacon are a few of the first steps Merrill is taking to give back to the Town of Plymouth.
