Dunkin Brands University

Dunkin Donuts University has been located in Braintree, Massachusetts for many years. Expansion and a change in programs precipitated the need to expand the existing parking area to 66 spaces. In addition to the new parking area and traffic circulation layout, a new stormwater infiltration system was designed to control and infiltrate the increase in stormwater runoff generated on the site. A tree filter system was included to improve stormwater quality by bioremediation while adding to the landscaping. Merrill also designed the new perimeter landscaping plan and assisted Dunkin Brands University in obtaining Site Plan approval and a Special Permit for the expansion.
